About Kelly Alessi, RA, LEED AP
Owner & Principal Architect, Alessi Architecture
Kelly Alessi is a Registered Architect in New Hampshire and Massachusetts with over 20 years of experience designing thoughtful, enduring spaces across the Northeast. As the founder and principal of Alessi Architecture, Kelly brings a deep commitment to creating environments that serve their communities and inspire the people who use them.
Her professional background includes a wide range of project types from large-scale senior living communities and multifamily housing to civic buildings and custom single-family residences. Kelly has long held a passion for community-focused design, with past projects including senior housing, apartment buildings, and nonprofit facilities. Most notably, she collaborated with the Boys and Girls Club of Central NH and the City of Concord to design the new Penacook Community Center, a vibrant hub for childcare, after-school programs, and recreation.
Kelly’s work also includes historic renovation, such as the transformation of the Eleazar Wheelock House at Dartmouth College, and distinctive custom homes like the Winnipesaukee Lake House. Her portfolio reflects a balance of aesthetic vision, sustainable design practices, and practical functionality backed by her credential as a LEED Accredited Professional and membership with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
Kelly earned her Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University and continues to stay engaged with evolving trends in residential and community design.
Outside the office, Kelly lives in southern NH with her husband, two sons, and a Goldendoodle. She enjoys kayaking, swimming, tennis, and traveling, especially to New Hampshire’s lakes, Walt Disney World, and Hawaii.
